River Road Walking Track – Open for inspection
It has been a long ride. In May 2015 a community member developed one of MRAG’s Community Plan Projects as an assignment. MRAG then took it further and applied for a grant through ‘Pick my Project’. This was a tedious exercise with no result, as we had to compete with metropolitan regions.
By being persistent and spreading the word, MRAG was lucky enough to get the support of the Victorian Government through the Community Support Fund in November 2018 (nearly $200.000).
We are very grateful for this grant and have ticked ‘River Road Walking Track Stage 1’ off our planning list.
